Current Projects
The CMLA is always at work in respect of various projects. Our work is mostly done by our standing committees. These committees constantly monitor their respective areas of responsibility, update the Board of Directors and the membership on developments of note and, when appropriate, prepare position papers for consideration by the Board of Directors. These position papers normally deal with proposed or needed amendments to legislation and/or international conventions. The Board of Directors determines the official position of the CMLA and prepares submissions on behalf of CMLA for the appropriate government entity.
