Scott Seminar Room (Room 16) of the Faculty of Law of McGill University, 3644 Peel Street in Montreal, commencing at 12:00 noon. Click here for further details.
June 9, 2008	"Carriage of Goods and Passengers in the 21st Century". The CMLA will be hosting this seminar to take place in Vancouver. Click here to view the seminar program and registration form. Seminar topics include Carriage of Goods by Road, Rail and Sea, Multi-Modal Issues, Freight Forwarders, Liabilities of Terminals, Warehouses and Wharves, Coasting Trade issues, Passenger Carriage and Class Actions and Criminal Liabilities of Shipowners and Crews.

September 21-23, 2008	Transport Canada will be hosting a maritime conference in Halifax, September 21-23, 2008, to celebrate IMO and the World Maritime Day. Click here to be directed to the Transport Canada webpage regarding the conference.
October 12-17, 2008	39^th CMI Conference in Athens, Greece. Some of the topics in the programme for the 39^th CMI Conference include Places of Refuge for Ships in Distress, the UNCITRAL draft Transport Law Convention and Procedural Rules on Limitation of Liability for which CMLA has set up committees which have been active for some time.
